But there are some even more interesting luxury wine numbers - The ones sold on auctions: Champagne Louis Roederer, Cristal Brut 1990 was sold in auction in 2005 for $17,625. But that’s not even near the top. In 1985 1787 Chateau Lafitte claret engraved with the initials of Thomas Jefferson was sold for the staggering £105,000.
