One of the strongest Slovenian brands Gorenje has recently entered the luxury market with a very special high-end fridge-freezer. They took a fridge designed by Ora-Ito and covered it with thousands of Swarovski crystals. The head of Gorenje marketing says the inspiration came from the latest material-merging trends.

This a is picture of the world’s largest pearl on sale. Chinese emperors, Persian kings, the grandson of Genghis Khan and even Marco Polo owned it … But the name of its current owner is a secret. Eight centimetres 575-carat pearl will be sold in the following days for approximately $8 / €6 million. At least 400 people from all over the world are expected to attend the auction in Abu Dhabi.
In my previous post I was featuring Krug - one of the most expensive champagne brands. But there are some even more interesting luxury wine numbers - The ones sold on auctions: Champagne Louis Roederer, Cristal Brut 1990 was sold in auction in 2005 for $17,625. But that’s not even near the top. In 1985 1787 Chateau Lafitte claret engraved with the initials of Thomas Jefferson was sold for the staggering £105,000.
