I’ve just come across the latest edition of Financial Times How to spend and saw some really interesting things in it. It is a really nice paper for rich people, but I just feel it’s a bit too pushy. Again and again I’m realizing how rich people just don’t have a good “pull” medium for their needs. Read the rest of this entry »

swarovski gorenje fridge-freezer

One of the strongest Slovenian brands Gorenje has recently entered the luxury market with a very special high-end fridge-freezer. They took a fridge designed by Ora-Ito and covered it with thousands of Swarovski crystals. The head of Gorenje marketing says the inspiration came from the latest material-merging trends.

Well … On this blog we’ve been writing about golden mobiles and diamond laptops … And when you buy those two … Why not also having a fridge “Crystallized with Swarovski”. Read the rest of this entry »

manolo_blahnik

The expensive boot on the picture is Manolo Blahnik. Shoes like this are perfect for special events. Perfect for the red carpet. They make a perfect gift … Simply because they are perfect! I took my research further and also asked the expert to tell me what are the most expensive luxury shoes outhere:

The three most expensive shoes I have come accross, are I think a pair of Croc Manolo Blahnik pump about $6000, then it was in Paris in the 80’s a pair of Sidonie Larizzi evening shoes made to order for a saoudi princess with real diamond embelishement they were unique and must have cost $half a million the total amount of diamond were about 5 carats!!! Can you imagine? otherwise croc shoes are usually between $2000 and $10000 depending on the brand.

sarah-jessica-parker-shoes1.jpgThis one is for all the ladies. My girlfriend just told me about the The Shoe goddess. It’s a nicely designed blog on … Well. On shoes!

A woman sure looks great in well designed shoes and I actually know many women who cherish their shoe collection far more than they cherish their jewelry. The Shoe Goddess obviously knows this and that is why she is probably the #1 in the online luxury shoes niche. One of the most interesting things I found on her website was a really nice (sho)e-shopping guide.

She suggests the following sites for the best online shopping experience: www.netaporter.com, www.neimanmarcus.com, www.saks.com, www.barneys.com, www.eluxury.com

The shoes on the photo are from Sarah Jessica Parker shoe collection. She sure is THE shoe star. ;)
